You understand the importance of self-care, but it seems like there’s just not enough time for it. You want to put yourself first but to do so seems to mean ignoring your responsibilities of your home, family, workplace or even community. If only you had more time, you would make the behavioral changes you desire in your life—to be healthier and happier.
I know. I understand. This is the cry of the hearts of most professionals in the helping professions. You are committed and dedicated to the core. How do I know? Because I have been where you are now.
Your service to humanity is needed, so that’s why I am here for you—to ensure that you fulfill your passion without losing yourself because will power is overrated.
I wish 20 years ago someone had walked alongside of me as an accountability partner, a guide and coach to show me a healthier way to live out my career and/or vocation. Instead, I threw myself completely into my work, chained myself to my desk and became a workaholic. Eventually, though, I found my way, and it was through self-care: reconnecting my soul with my body and mind.
